For Youth & Their Families

CIDNY's STEP UP (Successful Transitions and Education Program) provides individual services and support to young adults ages 14-21 who are transitioning from school to adult life. Together we work with young people and their parents/guardians on transition plans that include: developing realistic goals, post secondary education planning, and vocational training and employment.

Our experienced staff will connect you with the services and benefits that you need in order to meet your goals. And we work to make sure that the services in your IEP are provided. If you are a young person with a disability or a parent/ guardian, that needs assistance, please contact our youth coordinator, Alida Rodriguez at 646-442-4152 or email arodriguez@cidny.org.

To see a coalition letter to the Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities to request a change in the name of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) diploma to IEP Certificate, please click here.
