Get Out The Vote! Voter Registration and Information Drive

Get out the vote NYC! Join CIDNY and other advocates on October 4 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Bryant Park for a voting event. Do you need to register to vote? Rego Park Health Care Open Doors Presentation (Private Event)

2024 Polling Site Surveying
October 26, 2024 – November 3, 2024, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and November 5, 2024, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Each election cycle, CIDNY conducts poll site surveys throughout the five boroughs of New York City. We do this to ensure that polling locations are accessible to all and that people can exercise their right to vote independently. We are seeking volunteers to help survey polling sites during election this November. You will receive training on how to survey polling sites as well as receive a stipend upon completion of the surveys. Surveying can be done on election day (November 5, 2024) or during early voting periods (October 26, 2024 through November 3, 2024).

Rally to Landmark and Save the Endangered New York Eye and Ear Infirmary

Location: In front of New York Eye and Ear Infirmary (13th St. and 2nd Ave.)
Please join Village Preservation and allies in preservation, the disabled community, and doctors, staff, patients, and alumni of the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary (NYEEI) for a rally and press conference on Tuesday, October 15 at 11 am calling on the city to move ahead with our urgent call to landmark the hospital’s historic building at 13th Street and 2nd Avenue. The rally, open to all, will be held in front of the building.

Disability Pride Parade
Sunday, October 20, 2024, 11 a.m.
CIDNY will be marching in the 2024 Disability Pride Parade. We’ll also have a table at Union Square at the conclusion of the parade. A mobile vaccine clinic is also scheduled to be onsite offering no-cost vaccines (COVID-19, flu, RSV).
